The staghorn fern turns heads with its dramatic antler-shaped leaves. These striking plants grow naturally on trees in the wild, which is why you'll often see them mounted on wood or bark at home.

Two types of leaves tell the staghorn's story: the flat shield leaves that hug tight against its base, and the showstopping fertile fronds that branch out like a crown. Given enough time and love, these beautiful oddities can spread up to 3 feet wide.

Want one? Keep it happy with bright indirect light and plenty of humidity. Regular misting and some sphagnum moss for mounting will make your staghorn feel right at home.
